I'm a GIS and systems builder focused on situational awareness — turning complex data into tools people actually use.

I started in GIS because maps are more than visuals; they're interfaces for understanding the real world. Over time, that evolved into building full systems: dashboards used by senior military leadership, mobile security platforms, IoT command centers, and operational tools for small businesses.

My side projects scratch the itch to build end-to-end solutions — from identifying a real problem, to designing the data model, to shipping something useful. Whether it's security SaaS, farm operations software, or automation tooling, the common thread is making systems clearer, faster, and more actionable.

I'm most excited by problems where software, data, and the physical world intersect — security, infrastructure, logistics, and operations at scale.

Problem

Security company owners struggle with administrative overhead, guards lack efficient real-time reporting tools, and clients have no visibility into operations at their sites.

Solution

Built a cloud-based, multi-tenant security operations platform with an Admin Web Dashboard for managers and a Mobile Collector App for guards to submit GPS-tagged incident reports with photos.

Reduced incident report turnaround from hours to seconds; shift scheduling from 2+ hours/week to minutes. In private beta with 1 agency, actively deployed to Firebase Hosting.

Smart RV Command Center

Problem

Off-grid RV operations require constant manual monitoring of disconnected systems—battery health, tank levels, tire pressure, solar charging—with no unified visibility or proactive alerting.

Solution

Built a comprehensive RV monitoring dashboard on Raspberry Pi 5 with touchscreen, aggregating data from distributed ESP32 Bluetooth sensors into a unified, offline-first interface.

Eliminated 15+ min/day of manual checks; ~$90 hardware cost vs $300+ commercial alternatives; 10 fully functional dashboard views; deployed in 18ft travel trailer.

Dumalan Mushroom Farm

Problem

Small-to-mid-sized specialty mushroom farmers using BoomRoom tents and All American sterilizers—typically 1-5 person operations—track everything in spreadsheets, whiteboards, and paper logs with no enterprise software options.

Solution

Built a full-stack operations dashboard that tracks mushroom cultivation from sterilization through sales, with role-based access for farm owners, technicians, and sales staff.

~5 hours/week saved on manual tracking; contamination visibility revealed most losses occurred post-inoculation, leading to process changes. In active development toward commercial launch.

Built a full-stack SaaS web application with companion mobile app that lets retailers design professional shelf labels with a WYSIWYG editor, manage product inventory, and batch-print to both sheet labels (Avery) and thermal printers.

24/7 crypto markets are impossible to monitor manually—opportunities disappear while you sleep, and emotional trading erodes returns. Solo traders lack systematic risk controls and real-time visibility into position performance.

Solution

Built a professional-grade automated trading system with a full-featured React dashboard for real-time monitoring, comprehensive risk management, and strategy configuration—essentially a personal trading desk that never sleeps.

Eliminated 4-6 hours/day of manual chart monitoring; 1,000+ paper trades processed during optimization; circuit breaker prevented 3+ potential max-drawdown scenarios; achieved breakeven to positive returns after tuning.
